During the summer semester of the academic year 2019/2020 a cycle of teacher competency improvement workshops will be held at the Faculty of Law in Rijeka, consisting of two two-day workshops led by Full prof. Vesna Kovač, Ph.D from the Faculty of Philosophy in Rijeka. The topic of this workshops will be “Student-centered Teaching: Planning, Teaching, and Evaluation in Law Studies” and these workshops will be attended by teachers from all four law schools in Croatia.
The first two-day workshop will be held on February 26 and 27, 2020. During this workshop the focus will be on planning lessons based on learning outcomes and on the process of selecting teaching methods structurally related to learning outcomes,. Furthermore, the participants will receive instructions for developing a didactic-methodical scenarios for applying these teaching methods to their courses.
